Third Annual Stronger Together Recovery Walk

Sims Park in downtown New Port Richey hosted the Third Annual, Stronger Together Recovery Walk, commemorating Recovery Month with a vibrant and purposeful event. This event brought together individuals from all different walks of life, united in their commitment to recovery and healing. Recovery speakers shared their powerful journeys alongside city officials and community partners, highlighting the importance of community connection in the face of substance use. One of the highlights was, Natalie beautifully singing the National Anthem.  A host of vendors provided valuable resources and engagement opportunities. The highlight of the day was a symbolic walk around Orange Lake, where participants, surrounded by the natural beauty of downtown New Port Richey, walked together in solidarity, promoting the message of recovery and the possibility of a brighter, substance-free future. This walk, and the event as a whole, served as the strength found in unity.
