Official Membership Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

Thank you for your interest in becoming an official member of The Hope Shot Recovery Community Organization (“The Hope Shot” or “the Organization”). By applying for membership, you agree to abide by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read these terms carefully before submitting your membership application.

2. Membership Eligibility

To become an official member of The Hope Shot, individuals must:

• Be at least 18 years of age.

• Support the mission and values of The Hope Shot, which focuses on All Ways of Recovery, community support, and reducing recidivism.

• Commit to personal and communal recovery efforts in alignment with The Hope Shot’s goals.

• Complete the membership application process and receive approval from The Hope Shot’s leadership team.

3. Membership Responsibilities

As an official member of The Hope Shot, you agree to:

• Actively engage in and contribute to The Hope Shot’s activities, meetings, and events.

• Support other members in their recovery journeys through encouragement, understanding, and positive reinforcement.

• Follow all organizational policies, procedures, and guidelines.

• Uphold the integrity and confidentiality of the community by respecting the privacy of other members and the sensitive nature of shared information.

4. Code of Conduct

Members of The Hope Shot are expected to adhere to a high standard of conduct, including:

• Treating all members, volunteers, and staff with respect and kindness.

• Refraining from any behavior that could be considered discriminatory, harassing, or harmful to others.

• Maintaining an inclusive and supportive environment where all members feel valued and accepted.

• Avoiding conflicts of interest and disclosing any potential conflicts to the leadership of The Hope Shot.

5. Confidentiality Agreement

Membership in The Hope Shot involves participation in a safe and confidential environment. Members agree to:

• Keep any personal stories, experiences, or information shared within the organization confidential.

• Not disclose any confidential information related to the Organization’s operations or fellow members outside of the community, unless required by law.

6. Participation and Engagement

Official membership in The Hope Shot is more than a title; it is an active commitment. Members are encouraged to:

• Regularly attend and participate in The Hope Shot’s meetings, workshops, and events.

• Volunteer their time or skills to support the Organization’s initiatives and community outreach efforts.

• Be proactive in supporting The Hope Shot’s mission and promoting recovery in the broader community.

7. Media and Communications Consent

By becoming an official member, you consent to The Hope Shot using your image, likeness, and/or voice in any photographs, videos, or recordings taken during Organization activities for promotional or educational purposes. If you do not wish to provide this consent, please notify The Hope Shot in writing upon your application approval.

8. Membership Dues

There are no mandatory dues or fees required for membership. However, The Hope Shot welcomes donations and contributions to help fund its activities and support its mission. Contributions are entirely voluntary and appreciated.

9. Termination of Membership

The Hope Shot reserves the right to revoke membership at any time for any reason, including but not limited to breaches of these Terms and Conditions, inappropriate conduct, or failure to adhere to the Organization’s policies. Members may also terminate their membership at any time by providing written notice to The Hope Shot’s leadership.

10. Waiver of Liability

Members acknowledge that their participation in The Hope Shot activities is voluntary and at their own risk. By becoming an official member, you agree to release The Hope Shot, its officers, staff, volunteers, and fellow members from any liability for any injury, loss, or damage incurred during participation in Organization activities.

11. Amendments to Terms and Conditions

The Hope Shot may update or modify these Terms and Conditions as necessary. Members will be notified of any changes, and continued membership signifies acceptance of the revised terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida.

13. Acknowledgment and Acceptance

By accepting the terms and conditions, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions. Your signature also confirms your commitment to The Hope Shot’s mission and values as an official member.
